Symptoms to watch

  • Rising cabinet temperature
  • The compressor runs continuously or not at all
  • Heavy icing
  • Fan noise or unusual sounds
  • Condensation around the door

Safe initial checks

Keeping food safety in mind:

  • Check that the temperature setting has not changed.
  • Confirm the door closes fully and the seal is clean.
  • Do not block internal air channels with food.
  • Leave adequate ventilation space behind the appliance.
  • Check for a power cut or socket problem.

When is service required?

If cooling does not return, the compressor becomes excessively hot, icing recurs or there is an electrical smell, technical inspection is required.

Safety note

Do not puncture the refrigeration circuit or interfere with electrical components.
